joesixpack Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 How can I add fields to the product table and have them available for editing in the admin and display in the product info pages? This seems like such a basic feature--I can't believe it's not built into the product. I do not want to use the PEF contribution which creates a new table for extra fields plus another table to link the extra fields table to the product table. PEF might be a good solution for certain kinds of data, but not when all the products in the store can be described with a fixed set of characteristics. One of the PEF contributors mentions instructions to add fields manually, but I have not been able to find these. Is there a contribution that does what I want?
