thoneycutt Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I have a test site that is running OsCommerce V2.2 RC2. I want to import my database from my live store which is running osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 060817. After comparing the databases I noticed that there are many paypal tables in my old database that are not in the new database. How do I get all of my customers paypal orders into the new database. Please help!!! Terry
dmnalven Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 If you use the osC 'Backup' and 'Restore' utilities, this will happen automatically. The SQL dumpfiles contain commands to actually remove existing tables if they exist then create all anew. BTW, you may read the .sql files as they are just text. This is judicious in any case to at least read the beginning of the file where a description of the file is usually written as well as global parameters. You may also wish to 'synchronize' your installations with the same modules installed to minimize any confusion. For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
