itfitz Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 OK, so if I use FTP of through the back end of the cpanel, it doesnt let me change the permissions on the file. I am running CRE loaded. Any ideas? I have tried to use both the admin user id and the ftp account that I set up so it has me stumped. this is what I get from the ftp client: Status: Directory listing successful Status: Set permissions of '/public_html/includes/header_tags.php' to '664' Command: SITE CHMOD 664 header_tags.php Response: 550 Could not change perms on header_tags.php: Operation not permitted If it was easy, anyone could do it!
dmnalven Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 In cPanel's filemanager, click on the file you wish to edit, then choose "Change Permissions". For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
