category and subcategory changes

Hello folks!

 

Firsteval let me tell you that I like osCommerce very much and would like to thank the developers for their great work.

 

I would like to make the following changes:

 

When somebody clicks to an category osC shows the new products of the month under the subcategories. I would like to have products from the first subcategory displayed instead of the products of the month.

 

When clicking on the subcategory I like to have products with picture displayed.

Does anybody has realised this before, or would give me a hand on that. Thank you very much!
