blank amount field in payment

I have 2 questions whose solutions may or may not be feasible..one of them I made in a previous post, but no reply till now.

 

a. Is there any way I could have certain products in the catalog wih an open or blank field, so that the customers could place the $ value they desire? I need them to be able to place the amount of cash advance they will be depositing in a project.

 

b. I also wonder if the radio buttons used for selecting mode of payment could be replaced by the payment processor logo, or at least, the processors logo could be placed right beside it.
