this is my problem

I am getting this message in the red box in the lower left when i try run the install (to set up my configure.php files) after moving my site to a new server:

There was a problem connecting to the database server. The following error had occured:

Access denied for user 'xxxxxxxx_xxxx'@xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.com' (using password: xxx)

Please verify the connection parameters and try again.

1. I exported my database from the old server through phpmyadmin

2. Saved that sql file over the oscommerce.sql file in the install directory

3. Uploaded the files

4. Ran the install and got this error when i tried to connect to the database i just created on the new server

Where am i going wrong. I know I am missing something.

Anyone with similar experience or any experienced users out there that can help????????? Thank you for your support!

Access denied for user 'xxxxxxxx_xxxx'@xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.com' (using password: xxx)

check the mysql username & passwords, are they correct?

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
