no email can be sent

Quick Question: I have just set up the OSC and its wonderful but emails dont seem to go out to customers. Everything I have read here says to check the SMTP settings in the PHP.ini file.

 

I cannot find this PHP.ini file no matter how hard I try.

 

I'm using PHP Version 4.1.2 on a Mac OS X 10.2.2 Server.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
