Blurry Images and red X

In my OsCommerce admin tool all my buttons have a red "X" instead of the normal icons used

 

And on my site I have blurry pics and red "X" at the same time.

 

I uploaded the catalog folder like instructed, even though I did have an extra images folder, I deleted that. Also I noticed that I ahve some extra folders that doesnt want to delete.

That can be caused if you FTP'd the images in TEXT or ASCII mode as opposed to BINARY mode.

 

Images are BINARY files and must be FTP'd in BINARY mode.

No, it didnt work.

 

The images that are blurry or with a red "X" is the ones that came with the OsCommerce program.

But if I use the www.mydomain.com/admin tool and I upload an image from there, its perfect.

 

What my concern is the "buy" buttons and other such icons. Because the images that are there now, are the default ones from the OsCommerce program. Ill just delete those items and add mine.

 

I didnt have this problem before. I had to reinstall the program and this happened
