Hi All,

I have got my website set up www.asapcellphones.ca I have got mega tags installed and also done some optimization. I have monitored the site and I am getting 75-100 unique visitor's a day. The problem is that nonoe of them is resulting in conversion. I have noticed in the statisitcis that about 80% of the visitors enter and exit on the home page. That is to say they do not explore any other part of the site. What is more, the average stay is only between 0-30s. Whhat this means is that perhaps my site is not enticing enough?

Can someone please give me some solutions as to how to make this successful. I relaize it will take time to get up in the ranking, therefore I have employed PPC services of Adwords as well as another company. My current budget is 3.33/day.

Any constructive help would be appreciated. I think my site is great, but obviously I am biuased becasue it is my work that went into the desgin. Fresh eyes might help

Thanks in advance

I didn't dig your site deep enough, but noticed language and currency boxes there.

You don't need them if there are only one language and one currency available .

Yes this is all well and good, but I do not think that is going ot resolve my issue of people not exploring the site. Can someone else please help or suggest a solution. I am willing ot listen and learn

In a word, Content.

You are lacking it.

also Shop with confidence sounds like an e-bay store... really...

I would rework the mainpage language file a great real. I would use a tabbed dhtml component and put up interesting article content on cell phones. I would add some content (use the articles contribution) that talks about how to select a service plan, concerns about radiowaves, bluetooth advantages and disadvantages, etc. On each of the content pages I would have specific text links to products that are discussed. So, if I was talking about a Sprint plan I would then list some of the phones that work with the sprint pan and have links in the content directly to those phones.

Finally, I would go into forums where people are discussing the types of things that my articles were relating to and point people to the articles (quoting a small portion in the post). Each one of those links would increase your rankings in the search engine, but also offers you a chance to promote the store.

You have hit the nail on the head - i have been where you are now, spent hours trying to build a site becuase i did'nt want to pay someone, and it can't be that hard can it. Found i was to busy working in the back of the site and the front of it was going nowhere - i caved in and got some paid help, it has paid me back over and over again.

Now i look after what i am good at, the products, descriptions, but the workings of the site are no longer my problem !!

Be careful though, i have found when searching for someone there are lots of people claim to be good website developers and their knowledge is poor, find a good one and you'll be fine.. Knowing what you know already you will be able to tell good from bad..

A good recommendation is always a good thing !!
