angieallee Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Our pending orders at www.ornaments2remember.com sometimes disappear. We can see that we have pending orders, but they are blank. This has only started happening in the last couple months. Is it caused by customers not completing their orders? If they don't complete their order, it shouldn't show up as a "pending order," should it?
FIMBLE Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 No you are right, unless you are using PayPal IPN which creates a order for you to see in case the customer leaves PayPal with out returning to you. The default setting for this is Preparing [PayPal Standard] or similar. Not quite sure why orders should be dissapearing. Have you searched your Database for them? Guest Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I have 3 pending orders, but when I go to look at them, they are not there. There is no record of them even in the orders file. Please Help. I know two of them were test orders but not sure what the third one was or is.

You can use php my admin to view your data base, try looking around the orders tables for the entries. Providing they are there. I know that 2 were orders that we were trying out to see how they came through. BUT, one was a real order, where we now have a customer upset, I need to get into that order HELP ASAP!!! This customer paid with credit card. Also, another customer said she paid with credit card, but her order came through as check or money order. HELP!! -chris-frbank
