Adding another admin account

I would like to add another admin account for my site. How does one go about doing this?

By "add another admin account" im assuming you mean so you can have two seperate logins to the /catalog/admin section.....all u need to do is modify the .htpasswd file in your /catalog/admin dir ... Generate a new username and password here .. then just simply add the output to your .htpasswd file .. Remember one user/pass per line :)

go to your admin page.

usually.. yourwebsite.com/catalog/admin

 

log in.

 

then click on 'configuration'

then 'administrators'

 

there will be a button that will say 'insert'

 

click on that and enter your new admin account ;)

hmmm I don't have that on mine...but be on the latest version of osc ... well you can do it this way too then if u got the latest version :)

on the left side of your admin page.. there are categories..

is there configuration?

 

if so.. what is under there?
