how can I add A condition field to the product discription

I upload my inventory from excel and I have a column called condition (new or used) oscommerce does not have this option, How do I add it. Im sure its something like adding the field to the database like products_condition, and editing the catagories.php and product_info.php. I dont know how to code this even if I new where to go. I would think having a condition field would be standard but its not

I think you`re getting there, use phpMyAdmin load your database & add field you want.

 

Load categories.php go over the file & see how things are done, then copy & modify relavent sections, hey presto your done.

 

If you want someone to write this for you, perhaps you should give a good reason for them to do so!.
