Guest Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 For some reason, the table rate in my shipping module (which came as standard with the latest version of osc) will not accept any value lower than 3. This means I have to charge the same rate for a 100g item to be shipped as I would a 3Kg item! One of my products weighs 40grammes and I want to charge £1.99 for it. Where as another weighs 600g and I want to charge £3.49 shipping. How do I enter this in oscommerce. My current values are this: Enable Table Method True Shipping Table 3:4.50,7:10.50,7:10.50,9:10.50,99:20.00 Table Method weight Handling Fee 0 Tax Class --none-- Shipping Zone --none-- Sort Order 0
Guest Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 If your products weights are in grams Shipping Table 41:1.99,82:3.98,etcetcetcetc,601:3.49,etcetcetc ie etecetcetc put in the values you want. Now, in admin, in shipping and packaging, see what your tare weight is.
Guest Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Thank you so much! Why didn't I think of that? Guess I have to go and change the product weight for all my products now as I entered them as .4kg etc.

Guest Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I tried that. It won't let me enter in 0. anything. The lowest number I can enter is 3. I've tried!
Guest Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 I tried that. It won't let me enter in 0. anything. The lowest number I can enter is 3. I've tried! It does on my test site. Perhaps just get a fresh copy of the module.
