Hi all,

I have had a customer on the phone saying that when they tried to logon to one of our oscommerce sites they ended up in another customers account? Ive had a search and not found anything on here relating to this so has anyone else come accross this problem? or any ideas?

i beleive it was a 2.2MS2 thats had most of the latest fixes applied but Im looking into this now.

cheers,

Simon.

It is probably your configure file is not setup correctly and/or you are have the cache set to use the servers tmp directory. But it could be other things. Have you tried searching for this problem since it comes up quite often?

actually after trying these Ive plumped for the standard osc settings force cookies & recreate sessions

The SID killer is not a good solution and is no longer needed. Setting the force cookie option will cost you customers. The better approach is to fix the actual problem. You could try posting your configure file here, without the database login information and also check the cache setting as suggested.
