Product Question

Hello,

 

I have two types of products I want to sell through my website, downloadable media and services. However I don't want the services to show up on the shopping cart, I only want them to be added to the shopping cart through my website if a user clicks on a given link. The reason why I'm asking this is because I only want one checkout point which is the osCommerce checkout area but I also only want certain products to be visible.

 

Is this possible with osCommerce out of the box, just simply keeping certain products 'invisible' from the catalog and if not how could add this functionality to my osCommerce?

you want to restrict certain products so that they are not seen in the "shopping" part of your site.. but only if you CHOOSE to specify them somewhere.
