Importing Data Base

Hi,

 

Can anyone help me out here?

 

I have made a new installation and have the data base from my old store which I would like to import so I can use it on my new store. I need help or advise in doing this, I have searched the forum and can't find any info on this and am desperate.

If the stores are using different versions of osc then follow the upgrade instruction contained in the new osc package. Normally in the install directory.

 

If the db is on the same server you can just point to it by editing you 2 configure.php files.

 

If they are on 2 different hosts, use the export option in phpmyadmin, then import the results, once again using phpmyadmin.

Hello,Please,I am having the same problem.My old store and the new one are on the same OSC. I have them on same server too.With this new installation, how do I migrate copy my old store db to my new setup store?
