dgrop Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 His to everyone! Being new to osCommerce phenomena I wanted to share my problem in case someone could lend a hand :) The story is as follows. I have been approached to develop a webshop that would sell furniture (such things as tables, chairs, shelves, etc). The thing is though, that the furniture-selling company wants to let its clients choose various parameters of the products they would like to purchase. For a typical table, that could be width, height, and color. That is half the challenge. The toughest, from the engineering standpoint, is that these options should often be related to and determining each other in some particular way. So that if a customer choses a certain width of the table, the allowable lengths become restricted by a programmatically predetermined range. My question is whether this functionality is provided by osCommerce natively or is it relatively not difficulty to attain? Does anyone have met similar challenges and how they went about it?
