mazza
What is the logic behind showing the same products for all languages even if there is nothing to show exept picture and price ? Wouldnt it be more locigal to get the products that have a name for in the current language ? With that you could have different selections for different languages just by entering or not entering the names in admin. We came across this problem with internationalizing of our shop. Some products were in finnish (no use selling them in europe), some products only for domestic retailing (rigths to sell only nationally) and translation process was really slow for some languages. In the future, new products can only be entered when three different translators have found time in their busy schedules. Otherwise the descriptions or even names will be missing for some languages. burt
Are you asking for someone to come up with a contribution for you? Or are you saying that you have solved this problem yourself ? It doesn't sound too hard to do, just an extra piece in the SQL...
mazza
contribution would be nice :D But seriously, wouldnt this be a nice method for handling this situation in core also ? I am testing adding the "and product_name = not null" to suitable places but test and destroy method is not the most productive method.
