I have had my store set up a while and no matter if they are paying by credit card or check or mony order or if there is shipping or not or cash pick up order I always get an invoice and packing slip and an email about it....

When a customer pays with paypal I do not get anything from the store...No email no invoice or packing slip... I only get the statment from paypal...

How can I fix it so when a customer orders with paypal I am still notified and there is still a record of it / invoice etc.????????

Please Help ASAP>

kylewa,

Did you ever get it to work yet? I am having the same problems. All other transactions work fine with emails and invoices except PayPal. All I get is that the payment goes through but no record of what

was ordered anywhere. I have to call or email the customer to ask what they ordered.

Hello,

You fix this in your Paypal account page. There is an autoreturn setting that must be active. Once the client finish the payment transaction Paypal will send the customer back to your store and the order is completed on your shop.

Hello,

I have a similar problem, but it also occurs when the customer pays using credit card.

After the payment is made, the customer returns to my store, but still no notification for me. The cart is also filled with the products that the customer has paied for, while it should be empty.

still looking for help myself,

regards

I'm having the same problem, using the Dibs payment module for credit cards. But it only occurs sometimes, one in ten orders maybe, despite all pay through Dibs.

Very annoying to get a payment but not knowing from who, since there's no record in the shop - so far I've managed to find the customer by browsing my customer list, but that becomes harder the more customers I get (and I haven't figured out how to sort the customer list after the date they registered - tips welcome).

I located the problem to be (I think) that the pop-up blocker in IE7 (or similar) hinders the browser to come back to my osCommerce shop after the payment has been made at Dibs. Not knowing a way around it, I've simply added a note in the check-out process, telling IE7 users to disable pop-up blocking for the rest of the ordering process, and to immediately e-mail me if they aren't sent back to my shop after the payment.

What's happening is that the customer is being taken to the Paypal site and is paying, but not coming back to your site to finish the transaction.

What I did, as a sort of workaround, is to put some text on the checkout page that says something to the effect, "After paying at Paypal be sure and continue on to "website-name" to finish the transaction.

This happens to me about 1 in 10 also. And that's the reason.

I'm going to try Craft Shop Girls advice.

Hope this helps,

Jason

What is the return landing page are you using? As I am having the same problem and do have auto return set, but not sure if I have the correct return page maybe...
