Hi there,

I am really new at this and am looking for some advice.

I installled an STS Package through ftp and saved in in public_html which is where my site is and then into admin......

Now it says STS should be enabled but when i went into the modules to enable it, it wasn't there

Have i saved into the wrong place??

Where should it be installed (Its the latest package for V2.2 RC2)???

Thankyou

Hello Cindy,

First of all, see the link in my signature for the correct support thread for STSv4.

When installing STS, you need to upload the 'Files for RC2' folder as well as the 'STS' folder. If you have a new shop, you could simply upload these files (keeping the folder structure in place) over the files in your shop.

I am not very good at this, please help. :(. I have been at this for few days without any success. I am trying to install STS v4 onto a new OSC rc2.2a install. I followed your install instructions but still doesn't work. I know I am not doing it correctly since so many others here have sucessfully installed it.

Question: For a fresh instal of osc, do I copy the sts files before or after I install OSC? I got as far as seeing the "STS" link in the admin/modules, nothing happens after I click on "install +" on the right. What am I doing wrong?

Regarding the installation order, you should have osC installed correctly first, then install STS (uploading STS files and Files for RC2 from the STS contribution download).
