Store Pickup, table rate and other shipping methods

I have searched the forums but obviously don't know exactly what to search for.

Here is what I have

2.2 snapshot 12/19/2002

invoice pay method v1.22

store pickup shipp method v1.1

I will support 2 shipping methods to include

1. local deliver (table method where after $200 shipping is 0.00)

2. in store pickup (ship cost for will call pickup is $0.00)

When you checkout with under $200 both shipping options are available for both payment options (cc or invoiice). When the order porcess is complete the shipping says

Products Model Tax Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)

1 x 1 ft. Cat 5 Patch Cable, Green 52-12001-6 0% $5.00 $5.00 $5.00 $5.00

Sub-Total: $5.00

Store Pickup (No shipping charge added. Pickup during regular business hours.): $0.00

Total: $5.00

When you checkout with over $200 both shipping options are available for both payment options (cc or invoiice). However when the order porcess is complete the shipping says

Products Model Tax Price (ex) Price (inc) Total (ex) Total (inc)

2 x HP JetDirect 200M LIO 10/100BT J6039A 0% $199.00 $199.00 $398.00 $398.00

Sub-Total: $398.00

Shipping: $0.00

Total: $398.00

The problem is that is seems that OSC defaults to the cheapest (best way) ship method. And to confirm that it isn't just dropping the description on order invoice if I give the pickup module a $5.00 charge, while still available to choose when you checkout and go to complete the order the charge isn't applied and as far as I can tell the table rate is chosen.

Now finally after removing all but the table I can't get any kind of shipping charge after around $75.00

What the heck am I doing wrong?

I am an idiot

I tell you I looked and looked and looked until my eyes were bleeding.

Then I just asked the dancing bananna and he said to check admin>modules>order total>shipping>allow free shipping:true

I changed it to false and set my table rate and my add-ons and away I went.

Sorry for a waste of space post.

eye-strain + too much coffeee + thinking it must be a bug = embarassment
