Checkout totals all messed up

I believe order total modules are messing this up somehow. They are displayed twice on the checkout page, like so:

 

Sub Total

Sub Total

 

Delivery

Delivery

 

Tax

Tax

 

Total

Total

 

Apart from The Sub Total, all the other figures are different as it appears to be adding tax up twice, and with different rates?

 

I have had a look at the admin area and all appears correct. I just can't seem to get it to add up. Is there a hard file somewhere I can tell it exactly what values I want and where?

 

I had a look in the Database at the Tax rate, which is 17.5% so I don't know where its getting it's figures from. Also I just installed a module to work out the Sub Total without Tax, which came out at a value lower than the price of an actual unit, which may help to shed some light on it.

I've also noted that the TAX is worked out wrong everywhere. In the Admin Products section if I put the value £7.14 in the Total Price, it works out the Net Price @ 6.0766 when it should be 5.8905. It then displays the Net Price on the site @ £6.14. But in the Checkout it add's it up in the Sub Total as £7.14 and then adds more Tax on. This is really messed up and I can't make it live until this is sorted. I would really appreciate if someone could have a quick look for me, thanks. This is my 1st OsCommerce Site, but would like to get involved with the community, just need help starting up. Thanks
