Admin Database

Hi

 

I have two online shops using oscommerce

The problem i have is i have overwritten the database of the 1st shop by mistake

I managed to restore a backup of it from three months ago so now my 1st shop is back

I created a new database for my 2nd shop and pointed it towards that database

 

All looks good on the front page of the 2nd shop

 

BUT!

 

in the admin system of the 2nd shop seems to be using the 1st shop database example it has all the products of the 1st shop in the admin but not on the front page which seems fine

 

i dont understand why this is happening

I was going to reinstall the 2nd shop, but i dont want to lose all the products i have put in which took alot of time

 

Is there any way of fixing this without reinstalling

Hi Steve,

Have a few shops that I am constructing right now and had the same type of problem caused because I copied the sites from one that I had already made!

You need to configuer the database in the admin/includes/configuer.php file and the includes/configure.php file to point to the correct databases.
