gofast Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Hey folks, Does anyone know how to control the displayed category and breadcrumb trail when you are working with a product in multiple categories? For example - I have Category A and Category B. Item 1 is created Category A, then duplicated and linked (to keep reviews and sales figures) to belong to Category B. However, when you click on Item 1 from either category, it always displays the breadcrumb that includes the category with the lowest ID. Same with the highlighted category in the category box in the menu. Does anyone know how to make it keep the path that it got there from, or at least how to control which it selects? Short of that, there's one category on my site that trumps the rest - if I could renumber the category id to the lowest of the bunch, that would be a fix - not great but at least better - but I do not know how that could be done easily. ANY thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Brad btw- site is http://www.productbody.com if you want to see a graphic demonstration. The category that ought to trump them all is mama bomb.
gofast Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 RESOLVED - This was an issue with a modified product_listing.php that allowed a selection of a list or multi-column.
