Download problems

I'm setting up a new site with an old database and I do know how to get downloads working, but they are not cooperating with this site.

 

The downloads are not available after purchase, nor through the order history.

 

The site previously had a weird merchant set up and the downloads were prepared manually. I obviously don't want to lose all the info in the database, but I need to get downloads working ASAP. I added the "Limit cart quantity to 1 unit Rev3" contribution, and that is working, but I still never get a download link.

 

Any suggestions on where to start looking?

I finally figured out the problem in case someone else runs into the same thing.

 

The problem was that the person that previously worked on the cart disabled downloads by setting all the downloads_flag column to '0' in all of the rows of the orders_table.
