hi!please help

 

i want to put image as background on my header.how can i do it?was trying to change it on the stylesheet at tr header i added this

 

background-image: url("/images/image_name.gif");

background-position: 50% 50%;

background-repeat: no-repeat;

 

Nothing happened.then i inserted this at the header.php

<body background="/images/image_name.gif">

 

nothing happened too.

 

help...

Then either the image is missing or it is being overwritten or hidden by a later or another setting (table backgrounds or colors?).

 

Use your browser's 'view document source' feature to troubleshoot and narrow down html rendering problems.

background image support varies between browsers, I often use DIV for best results.

 

try this

 

top of header:

 

<div style="background-image:url(images/title.jpg); padding-bottom:10px; margin-bottom:10px; padding-top:0px; background-position: center right ; background-repeat: no-repeat; layer-background-image:url(images/title.jpg); border-bottom: 2px solid #999999">

 

bottom:

 

</div>

 

of course you should put the style in your css.
