Fuzzbutt.co.uk Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Just wondering if you can turn this option off, as I have a seperate newsletter thingie that I run and therefore don't want people signing up to the OSC one. However I want them to be able to sign up for product updates. Will this still be possible if the initial "newsletter?" checkbox is removed from the New Customer screen? Also can I just kill the code on the "account.php" page that prompts the user "Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters." when they view their account screen? Yeah I would just hide the code on the page in sql I would double check that the option is default to false
