I have duplicated the table rate files and all is well.

Both respond and populate correctly.

I have set one to Shipping Zone: New Zealand, and the other to shipping zone: Australia, so that they offer differing table rates per country.

However, when I am in my shop as a test customer, the NZ table rate works correctly, but the Australia table rate doesn't even show.

What am I doing wrong?

Australia is listed in my countries table.

Do I have to enter it into a zone chart somewhere?

TIA

Did you change the name of table to reflect the new file name in the duplicated table?

You could use the zones module to do the same thing.

Thanks for your reply.

I've set up the zone module instead but now, in the admin area, only the first zone shows up, the other zone boxes are there, but no accompanying text and when I fill them in, it doesn't seem to work in the store.

I have reloaded the shipping module just to see if this would help but it hasn't. I'm guessing that there is some kind of a problem in the admin files somewhere - but where to start looking.

Any ideas?

TIA

Just in case anyone (newbies like me especially!) is interested, the way to enable the extra shipping zones is as follows:

Go to your OSC system files and find

catalog > incudes > modules > shipping> zones.php

Follow the instruction contained in that file to add the additional number of zones you want.

Save and re-upload this file to the server

The login to your live store OSC admin section and find the > modules > shipping

UN install your existing Zone Based Delivery Rates (save any shipping tables etc that you have already added fiorst and copy them to notepad or similar)

RE install the Zone Based Delivery Rates package and hey presto.... you will see the additional zones added for you to complete.

Copy back your old info from notepad if you had any!!
