clickitycloo Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Hi guys, I'm trying to run the Paymentech SDK on my GoDaddy server (dedicated IP), but even though I've put the appropriate DLLs in the Bin directory and given ASPNET user permissions to it, I get the following error: "Unable to load DLL 'ptCoreSDK.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)" Has anybody encountered this error? Do you know what to make of it? Thanks a bunch!

I understand that Paymentech changed the name of the DLL so I registered the new one and it still returned this error
Guest Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Steve, I may be wrong but I believe the paymentech API required port 30000 to communicate with its server, unless you have a dedicated server at Godaddy you will NOT be able to open port 30000. There was a work around for this in a Canada Post shipping module that you might be able to rework for use in the Paymentech API but I believe your best bet would be to change payment gateways OR purchase a dedicated server.
