Big Hello to y'all !!

----

How are you doing?

We're doing good..

----

Have a question for all of you..

When somebody order item(s) from my site and went to checkout and went thur this

Delivery Information -> Payment Information -> Confirmation -> Failed ->

PayPal says...

The Seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details.

after we click Return to Merchant

it went back to Payment Information (checkout)

what is happening here?

Thank you for your time

I would recommend you do this anyhow, which version of OSC are you running?

What Bryce is talking about is if you have latest version of OSC it comes with PayPal IPN included, check for this and make sure that the Encrypted part in not set to true.

Nic

You can use my example above to fill it in, it looks after itself then

a new payment called Preparing PayPal IPN. is created and you need to check any orders with this status to make sure you have been paid by PayPal.

If a customer leaves your site to go to PayPal to pay then decides not to and goes off of PayPal then it still shows in your admin as an order

Hello again!!

What is this for

Your Public Certificate

PayPals Public Certificate

is it API ??

Thanks again

No API is PayPal Express

Thats for the encrytped part, you need to get the info from PayPal, if you do not have set to false and leave the encrypted fields blank

In that case it must be your settings in PayPal itself that are incorrect.

Not sure i installed it in a customers site earlier and it worked fine!

go back to the contribution and see any updates, or try a search i bet someone has had the same problem.

Then if the paypal is fixed you could just go back to your original.

Better still upgrade to the new version :D

It might be something simple but i am too tired to think now!!!!

Hope you get it sorted, PM me if you do, PM me if you done and i will look with fresh eyes !

Cheers
