Change Price in Cart Manually

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys i was wondering does anyone know how i might be able to edit the price of the product in the cart. I want to have a list of products which a salesman can then add to like a quotation cart which he can change if need be.

Basically this sales guy is going to use a stripped down version of oscommerce and use it as a quotation tool on his laptop, not availiable for public use. But he needs to be able to change the price.

Any help would be much appreciated.

All I can suggest is the EZ_price_updater contrib, http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2254

it resides in the admin area and allows you to login to admin/price_updater.php and amend prices, sorting / filtering by model and or manufacturer, instantly the new prices will reflect in the store prices, so your rep can alter prices "on the fly"

Won't work , the prices on the store will be the list price. which normally will be ok. But the sales guy needs to be able to alter the price depending on the customer. If i used EZ_price it would permanently alter the price for everyone, no?

true, he would have to restore the prices after building the cart. I guess what you need is a similar mod to alter the cart only, i'll think about that as I can see a high demand for that kind of contrib.
