define mainpage - problem

I cannot seem to find a support thread for this contribution...

 

I have used this a few times and never had a problem before, however now having used define_mainpage_v1.3.3_MS2 (which im sure is the same i used last time) i have made all the changes, checked it 5-6 times everything is as the instructional text says, it displays correctly on the site as a user, however when you log into admin and click on define mainpage you get the following error -

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /home/markb/domains/classicstamps.co.uk/public_html/iadmin/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /home/markb/domains/classicstamps.co.uk/public_html/iadmin/includes/functions/database.php on line 13

 

any ideas what is knocking this out?
