Figured I would take advantage of the full package - unfortunately my host has domxml unavailable post php5 upgrades - so much for that.

From what I am reading DOM has replaced DOMXML, so why the old php4 function when you note php5 is required for RSS 2.0 Products Feed - Google XML Site Maps - vs 1.1.2?

Had to ask.

Corey

Robert,

Thank you for this wonderful contribution. The menu and all site maps work fine. The RSS feed looks good, but only appears to contains feeds from catalog/index.php even though I added the proper code (<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" href="fwrrss.xml" /> directly below <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">) in the following catalog files: index.php, product_info.php, contact_us.php, conditions.php, privacy.php, shipping.php, sitemap.php, etc. The instructions indicate that code goes in all catalog files that you want included in the RSS feed. Is that correct, or did I misunderstand something?

Also, what is the suggested/preferred way to add the RSS button?

Thanks again for the contribution. I have it up and running and it works perfectly using Mozilla/Firefox, but with Internet Explorer (IE 6 and IE 7) all the parent categories of the pop out menu are displayed, but many of the children or sub categories are missing. For example the x-linker section has three sub categories, but only two are listed in the menu. Is there a known reason for this?

Any thoughts? Your help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I seem to have it working in IE now. I had changed the "Sub level menu" width (width: auto; /*sub menu width*/). Just an FYI...Setting it back to a fixed width may have helped.

Hi

I have a problem with Explorer not handling various css files. In that case, it doesn't look fwr_suckertree_css_menu.php file and only apply directives from stylesheet.css.

What can I do?

Sébastien

I'd like to remove the mod as it's not quite what I want (sorry). Other than deleting the new files and removing the code is there an "uninstaller" ? Only asking as there was an admin "installer" file - did that make database changes?

Thanks

I'm feeling lucky today......maybe someone will answer my post!

I do try and answer a simple post when I can just to give something back.

You re run the installer but add to the querystring as below:

AdminMenuOptions_installer.php?fwrmenu_delete

Do it last otherwise the script may output errors seeking settings that no longer exist.

Sorry if I misunderstood but that seems contradictory (unless you mean remove the files last) and I don't want to mess up.

To clarify, I need to:

1) remove the files/ code

2) run the "un"installer

When removing almost any contribution you should ..

1) Remove code that was added to the core osCommerce files ( this effectively removes the contribution in total so that it is no longer affecting the site at all )

2) Remove any added files.

3) Remove the database entries that were added.

Done, I got "Deletion Succesful" when I browsed to the file so I guess it was successful.

Thanks so much for your help:thumbsup:, sorry I'm removing your mod :( , it is a good one, just not for me.

Hi,

Good contribution although I am having trouble making it work in STS template. The menu works fine when STS is turned off.

Here is the image which shows what happens when the STS template system is on:

item.jpg?rot=1

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?, as you can seein the photo that the flyout subcategory menu goes behind the middle section.

Thank you for your help in adavance
