Hide languages, including flags and currency

As I only wan't one language, it's no use for me to see other currencies and flags.

I wan't these to be hidden, tried to remove languages in admin, but made also languages in admin to dissapear, and also caused loss of all sorts of thingys in the admin panel, for instance the catalog was empty!

It removed the text langauge, but the flags are still there, tried deleting the flags fysically, but then the text "english" or "spanish" appeard.

 

Any ideas?
