multiple catalogs, same userlist

i am trying to set up "mall" environment where users info is usable across multiple store catalogs. IE they won't hace to sign up more than once.

 

Anyone know if there is a contribution like this out there?

There are a couple mall systems in the contribs, in various stages. Here is my solution, Linda (Ajeh) and Peter McGrath both have a version in the works as well.

There is one minor bug in the admin side that I haven't uploaded a fixed version for yet, here is the link for the fix.
