Stock records wrong?

Hi, I am having problems with oscommerce taking items out of stock? i have compleated payed for items and they are not been shown as being remved from stock? My question is when dose the stock item get removed from stock? i use paypal and i have the paypal addon that showed the order even when the customer didnt return to the store, but even when i confirm the order manually it dosent seem to take it off the stock?

 

really need this to work asap cos i have a limited stock and cant go over but i dont really have a simple way of showing how many items iv have sold, i woud have to manually go threw each individual order.
