Is there any way of organising the categories box

I want to improve the look of the categories box by grouping my categories by theme with a heading, I can't find a contrib that appears to do this?

 

Is there any way of putting spaces or changing the colours of particular headings for example?

Yes you can and it is simple as 1 – 4. What you will want to do first is to sit down and think about how you want your categories to look like, then take and assign a number to each of those. You will want them to appear in a sequential sequence. Then see below steps.

 

Log into your admin area

 

Click on catalog

 

Click on the first manila folder icon then click on Edit

 

Set the sort order to the number you want it positioned at.

Hi, thanks for the response, this isn't quite what I meant though as that's the standard thing to do. I actually would like main headings of a group of categories (not subs) and be able to put a space in between a bunch of categories as it's all too close together and hard to read.
