modexotics Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Hi, My Hosting comapny decided to make a version upgrade of MySQL unannounced the other day. They had been running 4.0 and now they upgraded to 5.0.45. Unfortunately, this killed oscommerce and our CMS system When I try to access oscommerce, I get the following error msg: "22 - Character set '#17' is not a compiled character set and is not specified in the '/usr/share/mysql/charsets/Index.xml' file select value from sessions where sesskey = '2af44c07cabc6086005fec567403373b' and expiry > '1210614165' [TEP STOP]" looking at the database, ,many tables are locked up with this same error msg. Is there some way I can tell what characterset and collation I should be using? Thanks!
