cDynamic Meta Tags v1.2

Hi

 

I am trying to install cDynamic Meta Tags v1.2 because I want to edit my page titles for each page.

 

Following the instructions:

"includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php should be uploaded to your *catalog*/includes/languages/english/ directory"

 

I am going into "file manager" on the CPanel and then to public_html>includes>languages>english..........but I dont see any catalog here or anywhere for that matter.

 

Any suggestions?

i used to get this messed up as well when i first started. When they refer to catelog they talk about the folder as too which your store is loaded. it goes www/the folder your store is located in. the folder that your store is located in is the "catelog" folder. HOPE THAT HELPS YOU OUT

So am I correct to go into into "file manager" on the CPanel and then to public_html>includes>languages>english. And upload that file into the english folder? Thanks

Hi

 

I am trying to install cDynamic Meta Tags v1.2 for CRE .

 

When I follow this instruction (step 1):

"admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php should be uploaded to your *catalog*/admin/includes/ directory"

 

I go into: / public_html / admin / includes / (Current Folder)

I then hit "Upload file"

Then I hit "browse"

Then I choose "cDynamic_Meta_Tags v1.5.zip" which I have saved on my desktop

 

But this uploads the entire folder. According to the instructions I need 1 file from the folder uploaded at this stage (step 1)

 

Can anyone advise please?

 

Also, as you can gather I am brand spankin new to this. This contribution is supposed to be the easier ones to upload but I'm finding the instructions very difficult. Are there any "Instructions for Complete Beginners"?

An easier meta tags contributions for absolute beginners is, Easy Meta Tags
