I have searched all over the boards, the search function is hard to get your keywords to be accepted, and we are trying to allow people to order items without an account and/or without logging in...

 

I know it can be done but we can not find the way...

 

Anyone have a clue?

Hi, I went to this location but there were like 1000's of things to choose from...

 

I have the brand new version of OsCommerce - can you please tell me which file to use to allow people to purchase without an account?

Thanks for linking this contrib. I think Im going to try this! Is it difficult to install? Any documentation with it? Kind of leery of installing something new...LOL

I'm also thinking of installing something that will avoid having to sign up for an account, but is it recommended?

 

Do you think customers tend to click away from account sign ups as they have to enter the details all over again in the credit card processing page.

Try my contrib, no account, no customer, just add to cart and pay, only 3 files to mod or replace on a new store. You can see it working here www.sexy-underwear.org.uk ( it's a default oscommerce store, not underwear) try to buy something and see how it skips the new customer part.
