Guest Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Well we thought we would start taking PayPal payments again and it all seemed to be working but then we started getting emails from customers saying that they were getting the following message when they where getting transfered to the PayPal screen " Data does not match input character set or default encoding. For more information, please contact the merchant. ". This happens to about 10% of orders and the rest work fine. After some testing this also happens when I set the module to "Per Item". When set to "Aggregate", you get transferred but no price is transferred and asks you to input it!. This is near the latest version which is "osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v2.3.3 For 2.2MS2". I hope someone can help me out on this. Also I have setup a debug email address but I receive none. I have changed emails for this and checked spam but nothing comes through? I have searched support threads high and low for these errors but nothing of any relevance or nothing I have not tried. Help! Thanks.
