I need a reasonably simple yet powerful CMS, does anyone have any particular recommendations?

Use google to do your research, your question is not osc related.

As far as I knew it was OSC related as I need it to be OSC compatable, however I know so little about CMS's that perhaps any and all CMS would be/are OSC compatable, and not just compatable but something that would work well with it.

That's why I asked here.

the problem that you're going to run into with any cms - or any other third party product such as a forum or a blog, etc. is that they are not designed to work with osc. neither is osc designed to work with them. these packages are only designed with their own needs in mind. but since they're all open source, you have the ability to make modifications to them. some people already have - you can find contributions that will make various forum products work with osc, for instance. there are probably other that will make osc work with cms products. but since all of these are independent packages and designed on their own, you'll most likely have to evaluate them for the features they provide, and then figure out how you can marry them all together. it can be done, but it will probably take a bit of time on your part to get it working the way you want it to. there are just too many different products to choose from for any of them to be 'compatible' with the others out of the box.
