I just joined and am new in this field. I have never set up a shopping cart before. I just finished my website template and now I have to set up a shopping cart. Can anyone here maybe guide me or possibly set it up for me? If someone has AIM or MSN and can help me I would greatly appriciate it.

Do you have a host that supports PHP and MySql? That would be the first step.

 

Next, go to www.oscdox.com and download their manual. It has a step by step walkthrough for uploading and setting up your files, and then how to make basic modifications.

 

Once you start, you can ask in this forum for assistance with any errors and snags you run into... :grin:

Yes, my host has the requirement, and I have tried for the last day to do this, but I'm really not having any luck. Is it possible for anyone to do this installing process for me? I don't know if I can get you anything in return, but I will try. :oops:

If you cannot do it yourself, or don't have the time then you need to invest some money.

 

There are lots of people who will install for you at very little cost. Making the shop look like your site will cost more.
