I use Netfirms and I am having problems changing a few things HELP!

Hello everyone! I am so glad that I found this forum. Please bear with me...as I am new to this. If someone has some links that would point me in the right direction, I sure would appreciate it! I have a website that is hosted by Netfirms: www.sandeesmemoriesandcollectibles.com

 

I cannot find a way to change a few things. How do I change the title at the left hand side (top) of the screen, from Netfirms Commerce Pro to Sandees Memories and Collectibles? A few people have told me what I need to do but I have no idea how to actually get it done. They mentioned something that seems important...that I need to get rid of .netfirms.com from my pages. Netfirms had default folders when I signed up for an account...what do I need to do to change it the way they say it is supposed to be so that Google will pick up all of my pages?

 

I have read lots of people suggesting contributions...how do you install them to work for your site? Do you have to create a new folder? If so, where would I put it? For example...in my catalog folder and then create a sub-folder? Sorry for the many questions.

 

If someone has a chance, can you please look over my site and tell me what else I need to do to get it right?

To get rid of netfirms in the browser title bar go to the osc admin area and in the

 

Configuration >> My Store >> Store Name

 

Change it from Netfirms..... to ?????????

Don't use NetFirms :) Your site is actually running under their domain. Which is great if you want to help their SEO but not so great for your own .

Hi! Thanks for your reply! I had previously done this when I created my store...it already has my website name there in ADMIN - Sandees Memories and Collectibles. The very top left hand side (I guess it is called the title bar) is still showing Netfirms Commerce Pro when you go to my website www.sandeesmemoriesandcollectibles.com
