Only thing I would think about changing are the links for the product webpages (the links underneath your product detail images) they lead to sites that look like your competitors. Unless you own those sites too. I also noticed that every time I click a link the page bounces around like a jumping bean for like a split second. My connection is pretty fast so that might get exaggerated on a slower connection but I'm not sure. The header is awesome!
Guest
i like the site 1) kinda hard to read the text on your main graphic with the boat. the "click here..." part is hard to read. 2) every page has the 1~4 page links above the free shipping infobox. this isn't needed nor does it work on pages that are single pages like contact us. 3) i'd install one of the many contributions that smooth out the thumbnail pictures

cmakynen
Hi Rubberbandman, Nice site. I'm logging in on a not real fast DSL link, and the main catalog page loads really slowly - the product images are too big. For instance, "303 Wiper Treatment packs" graphic is 221k! Multiply that by a few images and it gets pretty long for a slower link to view your page. search contribution area for "thumbnails" and cure that. That's about it. Other than the 1-2-3-4 above the right column which someone pointed out earlier, its a good complete easily navigated site.

desiredin
Your columns are way too wide. They are really cramping up your main content which is a huge turnoff. Your gradient for the search box needs adjustment as the text is blending with the white portions. Depending on the angle of someone's LCD, the text becomes invisible, while the rest of the page appears fine as the text for your other info boxes is centered on the gradient. tastar
Hi I think that the design needs to be improved. The header and the sub-header take up way too much room - as a result, on my screen, I have only 1/2 of the page left to see content - like product_info pages. You are wasting too much visible space for static parts of the site. Also, according to http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ your index page presents: Warning! The total size of this page is 452811 bytes, which will load in 98.04 seconds on a 56Kbps modem. Most of the size comes from the sub-heading - which appears to be at least 300K - large enough to explain why every page loads with a big jump. I have a flash sub-heading on my site that is about 600 pixels wide and is only 68K, and it only shows up on index.php, not on every page of the site, so you could do a better job of condensing it and displaying it. I don't agree that your columns are too wide as another poster mentioned, I think that the overall width is too narrow. It seems that most sites are being done assuming that a typical screen width is at least 1024 pixels, so a 950 - 1000 pixel width would not be too wide. I would guess that you are around 800 pixels, and could easily go wider (which would make the size of your sub-head an even bigger issue). I don't know that the Date Added to Site item in product info serves any purpose. Otherwise, the site seems pretty nice - nice color scheme, nice buttons, etc. Hopefully you will be populating it with lots of stuff - it seems that it you need to fill a lot of empty categories. Good luck with the site. Tony
