New install with questions

Hi all, newbie here with a couple of questions. I have installed oscommerce and was wondering if after payment

has been accepted can my customers be redirected to a page with download links. The reason I ask is that I sell

a series of golf ebooks for one price. The customer pays and gets redirected to one download page with all of the

download links on this one page. I have enabled the download and redirect in the admin area and tested it but

there is no redirect. I do not know where to tell it the redirect link.

 

Also, can I just add a purchase now button on my website that can take my customer straight to the sign-in/register

page. I sell just one item and doubt that there will be a need for all of the many features within oscommerce.
