Yzord
Hi, I bought a template for my oscommerce and installed it right away after i got it. Everything went smooth and the webshop looks ok, but i cannot access the admin tool. it is saying: Warning: session_save_path() [function.session-save-path]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/y/:/tmp/:/var/www/:/usr/local/lib/php/:/etc/virtual/) in /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 161 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php:161) in /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php:161) in /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php:161) in /home/y/domains/public_html/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 22 and thats all whats displayed. I bought it for 150 dollar at such page where you can buy templates and they are not reacting to my mails. i know about the /tmp map, but i had to alter that in my panel but i cannot get into it. Does anyone has an idea how i can fix this?
web-project
the main problem is pen_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
Yzord
Thanks for your reply. But how can i alter this? I cannot go into the admin panel to change the homedir of the /tmp map :(
BryceJr
Use your host cpanel to get to your database server. Log in to your database server, pick your database, and follow the screenshots. On the 3rd image, you'll see the /tmp. Change it to a directory in you're allowed path. Some change it from /tmp to tmp

sdook
Use your host cpanel to get to your database server.Log in to your database server, pick your database, and follow the screenshots. On the 3rd image, you'll see the /tmp. Change it to a directory in you're allowed path. Some change it from /tmp to tmp That did work almost fine. Sadly it came a new error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /customers/sdook.se/sdook.se/httpd.www/webbutiken/includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php on line
