Images not uploading

I have OSCv2.2 with the Additional Images Contribution installed.

 

-> in admin adding/editing products and their default image. for some products it uploads fine and for others it doesn't upload them at all. When I check the source code the path to the images is: src="images/" and thats it. Not a full and proper file path. Originally I thought this was due to the length of the image name as some paths were cut short of the full path - typically missing the last letter or two of the file extension - .jpg would end up being .j or .jp.

 

I have treid to play with the image settings and Additional image settings to see if anything would work, but nothing. I have tried altering the file path and nothing works. Not sure where I would be able to correct how the image path is being stored and populated?

 

Now with the additional images, when I images and go into the product pop up window the large images load, but the thumbnails do not... the file path is the same as mentioned above.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is driving my and my client nuts!!

Thanks, but as I said it does not seem to be a problem with the contribution. It happens with the default image and only effects the thumbs of the additional images cont.

 

Somewhere the file path is being tainted.

 

any help?
