Can anyone help me fix these?

I have to issues with my store and I hope someone can help me with them.

 

#1. On my specials page herehere the sale price is backwards, meaning the lower price is lined out and the regular (higher) price is prominent.

 

#2. Is there a way to have a description on the category pages that is not so truncated?

 

Any help would be appreciated and I apologize if these topics have been covered already.
