Integration with Windows Server Active Directory

Hello all,

 

I want to insert a Active Directory (or better said: I want to get login names out of the Active Directory).

But how do I do this?

Direct integration?

SQL?

Addon?

 

You'd all probably wondering; The A.D?

Yeah, this is because it's a shop for internal members, and is never going to be "hosted" to the WWW (or the Internet (thus via Intranet)).

 

And since the company consists over 250 and more employees (also in different countries) it isn't an option to seperatly add an user in the way they do it on the WWW, first, because it is a heck of a lot work to add them (or even when you ask them to add themselfs (which is actually not their responsibility, but ours), and next to that, some employees may not order certain items (that will be controlled by the rights in the AD).

 

Ofcourse, I did a prestudy, and searched both on the internet and on these forums, but all I come up with is topics with the result Active | and | Directory, but this is only an explanation, for example: set the active directory, not meaning the Windows Server Active Direcory.

 

I also looked in the addon page, but came up blank.

 

Is there a way to do it?

And if so, how (or what link if it is described there).
